What is a Home information Pack?

The Home Information Pack is a set of documents providing important information about a property such as searches, copies of the deeds and information regarding its energy efficiency.

For Sellers when providing an Information Pack it should reduce the chance of any surprises during the sale and increase the speed until completion.

For buyers, the pack provides important information regarding the property they are considering purchasing and increases the speed of the sale.

What's In The Pack

Compulsory Documents:

• For example: Home Information Pack Index, Energy Performance Certificate, Sale Statement, Standard Searches, Evidence of title & Additional information for leasehold and commonhold sales, where appropriate.

Optional Items:

• For example: Home Condition Report, Legal Summary, Home use/content forms, Other Documents.

If certain documents cannot be obtained immediately the seller can still start marketing his property as long as it can be proven that a pack was ordered.
